Homework Challenge Learn a musical instrument.

This past year I have attended a Guitar class.
My teachers name is Mr Campbell.
I have 5 - 6 people in my group.
We have class 1 a week and learn lots of new things and new songs.
I have been doing guitar now for one and a quater years.
Right now we are learning the song Blackbird by The Beetles! We play acoustic guitar.
My favourite thing about doing guitar is learning how to play new songs and creating songs yourself!
We have learnt normal chords, bar cords and lots more.

Cemetery Investigation

We went to the Anglican Cemetery and tried to find what sorts of topics we could use in a graph, a chart or a table, for an investigation.

We found some information about
We found a 18 year old boy who accidentally drowned.

We found a girl Called Sarah who died at the age of 47 in the year 1891

We found a girl Charlotte who died in 2012 and your tombstone was a big book. This was a very creative tombstone.

This is the Cemetery we visited.

Camp Happenings

Camp Happenings

Finish each sentence and find an image to go with it

The funniest happening on camp was when we were sleeping in the bush and in the middle of the night _____ needed to go to the toilet in the bush. But she had never peed in the bush before so we she went all of her pee went in her pants and she had to sleep half naked for the rest of the night.

The biggest challenge on camp was when I did the beam because when I was up the ladder and on the beam I was scared that I would fall off the side ( even though I couldn’t). But I made it across and when she let me down REALLY fast I screamed really really loud.

The scariest happening on camp was when Felila was on the tramp and she tried to do a back handspring but when she went back she landed funny on her neck and had to stay in one position for 45 minutes until the ambulance came. This was at around 7 o’clock at night.

The most exhausting moment was when we had to sleep in the bush and the night before I only had 3 hours sleep and that night I woke up and had only 3 4 hours sleep.

The most embarrassing moment was when we were doing stream study and Nicole walked to the other side of the stream and on her way she slipped in and got all of her clothes soaked.

The most dangerous moment was when Steffanie was rafting and she got her injured foot stuck in between some rocks. SHe could get her foot out so one of the parents helped her. Her dad came and picked her up and took her to the hospital and she got crutchers.

3 things I learnt

Firstly I learnt how to make a fire with wood, 2 matches and a piece of newspaper scrunched up.

Secondly I learnt how to shoot a gun and how to shoot at a target.

Lastly I learnt how to use the tramp wisely.

2 things I was surprised about
I was surprised about how someone peed her pants in the bush.
I was surprised about how Matthew said I love you to Mrs Shepard on the top of the beam.

I question I still have
A question I still have is how to find the Nitrite levels of the river ???
