Homework Challenge - Care for Younger Children - Create a game or activity for them to play
This weekend I went to look after a little boy called Will, He is 3 years old. I created an activity using velcro letters and a felt melt. The purpose of the activity was to teach him to recognize letters and start learning some words that are used in his everyday life. Some of he words were Will (his name), Car (his favourite toy) and pig (one of his favourite farm animals).
Will enjoyed the activity but I learnt that 3 year olds don't have long attention span so he did the activity quite quickly as he wants to learn new things and have new and exciting adventures. One of his favourite ames is to play hide and seek.
Hope you enjoyed
