SPCA Assembly

Today in Block 2 we went up to the gym and sat down as a school to listen and learn all about the SPCA. The hosts were Norm Hewitt and Whaea Shelly. 

The 5 freedoms we learned about were:

1. Shelter
2. Food and Water
3. Exercise
4. Love
5. Vet Care

Also the main points we were learning about were:

• Dreams can com true
• Treat animals how you want to be treated
• Treat and respect animals and to treat and respect people.

Norm Hewitt when he was a kid loved three main things, they were:

• Cowboys
• Fish and Chips
• Rugby

When Norm was younger his father beat his 6 sisters and brothers hard and espically his mother who was somewhat unregnieable after she was beaten.

I enjoyed listen and learning all about the SPCA and my pets and also the 5 freedoms !
